First quarter Review...

Okay can we just say where did the first of this year go? I totally forgot what it was like to slow down and take a deep breath. March is always a busy month for us but we made it through, Rodeo, Golf Tournament, and also BBQ cookoffs. Now it's April and it's almost over.... UGH! Summer time...

At the beginning of April Scott and I had decided to make a trip back to his home in Kingsburg California (a) To see his family (b) and for me to meet the family (I have never been so nervous in my entire life) I SURVIED!!! His family was so like mine in every shape and form. He has 2 sisters that are about 10 years older but so sweet. Sherri took off the whole week to spend time with us and do some day trips. It started off as soon as our flight hit the ground on that Thursday we headed to Monteray to spend the next day shopping and spending the day at the beautiful aquarium. They had opened a new exihbit, JellyFish Explosion. Very retro and a cool exhibit!! We headed back to Kingsburg that evening to spend a few days just spending time with the family and getting to know them, playing domino's and settlers of catan (one of scotts families favorite games). Over the week we took a few day trips on Monday we went to Yosemite, so many beautiful things to see there. It was so pretty to see the 4 ft of snow because we do not get much of that here in central Texas and the waterfalls were just amazing. We also stopped by a casino on the way home and played Roulette and Slots. I actually won and I was suprised because I hate gambling. Tuesday was just a chill day touring Kingsburg and running around town. On Wednesday we decided we would go with a group of friends of Sherri's to Magic Mountain Six Flags (extreme roller coasters for sure). Let's just put it this way I WAS SCARED FOR MY LIFE on the oh lets see the first ummmm 3! haha! CRAZY ROLLER COASTERS FOR SURE! You can check them out on youtube if you want X2, Tatsu and the Goliath.... i was crying. (big baby right here!). Thursday we took a tour of where his sister works at Mountain view cold storage. They are a company that delivers fruits to stores around the US. Kind of cool seeing where all the fruits come from and how they are stored till going to stores. We also went to Fresno where Scott went to College and also worked at Buessto foods, we toured their plant and walked through the processes of making salami, also kind of neat to watch how it's actually made. Scott's other sister and her family came down to visit for the evening and Scott's mom wanted family pictures done, still waiting on how those turned out. Will share when they become avaliable. Friday we went to Seqouia and saw all the huge sequoia trees and ran and played through the snow. Just amazing to see all of these trees in fields walking through them were pretty cool.  Then last but not least Sunday was Easter, I have always big a huge family person because of my family doing Easter at the country.... well good thing Scott's family is just like ours because there were 6 little girls to keep me occupied. We dyed easter eggs and ate tons of food all day long. All in all it was an awesome trip and I can't wait to go back and visit.  Thanks to the Grumbles family for allowing me in to their homes. :-)

Now....  these lovely people celebrated their 38th Wedding anniversary on April 6th!! Also my brother and Alisha will celebrate their 10th Wedding anniversary on April 28th.

Scott and I celebrated on April 16th our 1 year of being together.

I know I keep saying this but I will eventually get in the swing of posting.
Hope everyone is doing well.
