Stupid Car!!!

Okay so yesterday I was bummed! On the way home from work yesterday my one and only car bought and owned by me broke down. I was crusing a long jamming to my ipod on the radio (like i normally do on the way home) all of the sudden I just lost power. Take it my husband and father are mechanics, my brother a body shop guy and lets see I also have basically our whole family has worked for the wrecker service business my mother still works at oh and I also work for a Parts/oil business. (you think it would be running just fine). So I of course shaking after forcing my steering wheel all the way to a safe place that I could get to on 183. As I get out I am shaking and of course tearing up. My silver bullet baby is stranded on the side of the road (once again). Thank god for cell phones because I am in the middle of no where, yes I guess I could have walked the whole mile and 1/2 back to the gas station I just passed just 183 is not the road to be walking down on the side of the road. My brother and sister in law came to the rescue to get me and waited with me till Jr came to get my car. Take it my car starts already by this point to my brother just messing with it for a little while. Still sent it back in to austin on a wrecker so dad could look at it to get fixed. Now he can't get it to repeat the problem! :( Hopefully we figure it out because I think it is time for a new car! :(

Not sure what to think.... Matt's Job Choice!

So as many of you know Matt quit his job at Penske of 6 years oh a little over a month ago. He was hired on at Rush peterbilt in Buda and was taking a huge jump in to the commission life instead of an hourly wage. I was concerned because it was commission and that he would have trouble preforming enough to make a good paycheck. Of course that was not my main concern it was more of if he would be happy with a commission job. Both my brother and my father are on commission jobs so he had asked both for advice. For the first two weeks he seemed very pleased with the company and vise versa they were pleased with Matt's work. Well last week he was visiting with a friend of mine that works at a company that is across the highway. (the same type of work). My friend Josh had been talking to the main guy at the company he works for and he put in a bunch of good words about Matt, which I appreciate that he talked highly of my husband. They offered him more money but hourly wage with a commission at the end of the month if he preforms faster. Of course it is not my decision and a few have made comments saying he would do better at Rush. Matt said something to the guy at Rush and for a moment he thought that this guy would help him and make an offer to keep him because he is so happy with his work. Of course they told him that they would see what they could do to and told Matt to talk to him later that afternoon. Well the shop foreman left with out saying anything and he is not in the office today. Matt is a good worker just wants to be happy with a company and that will help him grow. Well today he decided mid morning that he will be working for the other company Vanguard. (Rush could not compete with the other company). So today he is loading his box and moving with another guy(that he has worked with before) also decided he was leaving too. I am of course blogging because I told him that it was his decision not mine and don't want to talk to anyone about it but have to get it off of my chest. Please pray that this is what God had in store for us and pray that he will be happy.

I will be so glad to hit the pool at the coast for a NICE relaxing weekend! :)
