Fear not, for I am with you;be not dismayed, for I am your God;I will strengthen you, I will help you,I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
—Isaiah 41:10
As many of you know this little boy is at the Ronald McDonald House in Minnesota. He is a sweet little boy and I am truly blessed to be so close to his family. Mrs. Donna is one that will do anything for any one, this is her sweet grandson Ty Dahlstrom. Please pray for this little boy as he goes through surgery today and pray that he will soon over come the health issues he is going through. No one wants to see a child in pain, especially someone you are so close to. If you go to http://www.rmhmn.org/ you can read about what he is going through. His parents have been so strong in this struggle to be with him as he undergoes so much. Sorry had to do a quick post because I will forever keep him in my prayers, right now we need some major prayers!
UPDATE: I copied what Shannon put on the carepage website... CONTINUE TO PRAY!
Surgery

Ty made it through surgery and back to his room at 5:30pm. The G-Tube placement and clean-out went well. With the biopsies they experienced unexpected bleeding, but it stitched up just fine. They have him on morphine and are trying to control his blood pressure and heart rate with it. There was some fluid and air build-up in the attached drain tube, so he is waiting for his next dose of morphine right now, he is in excruciating pain, between the doses. Although his little spirit is still there and he had to display his ability to count backwards from 100.
He can not have anything by mouth until tomorrow, so he is a bit upset about that. You all know how it goes, when they say you can't then you really want to...They have started him on Potassium Chloride by IV to give him some energy.
He has a fever still, but can not take tylenol or anything to bring it down, because he can't take anything by mouth and due to the rectal biopsy they can not do a suppository. So pray that God will take care of this for him.
Dakota and my parents are already on the road, so please pray that they make it safely to us.
I will add information to this update as the evening goes on and Ty's comfort level allows.
Thank you all for your time and prayers. We feel so close to each and every one of you!
